Do I need a credit card to book?
We accept mobile money (MTN/Airtel), bank transfer, cash
at pick-up, and debit/credit cards. A 30% deposit confirms your reservation, the
balance is payable at collection.
What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is two days (48 hours). We
also
offer discounted weekly and monthly rates for longer hires, contact us for a
tailored quote.
Can I drive to other countries?
Cross-border travel is permitted but requires prior
approval
from Chaliko Car Hire Limited and an additional cross-border fee. Please inform
us
at the time of booking so we can arrange the necessary documentation.
What documents do I need to hire a vehicle?
You will need a valid driver's licence (Zambian or
international; minimum age 23), a national ID or passport, and the funds for the
security deposit. All documents are verified at collection.
Is fuel included in the rental price?
No. Vehicles must be returned at the same fuel level
they
were given at pick-up. A fuel surcharge can be pre-paid at collection if
preferred.
Can I add a professional driver?
Yes. We can arrange a vetted, professional driver for an
additional daily fee. Advance notice is appreciated so we can assign the right
person for your journey.
